Q: Do I fill out more than one application if I'm interested in multiple openings or locations?
A: No. You only need to submit one application and you will be considered for any open position that aligns with your experience, skill set, and qualifications.
Q: When can I anticipate hearing back in regards to my application?
A: You will receive an email confirmation once you apply. Your email confirmation indicates that your application has successfully reached the recruiter. We will contact you directly by email within a week to let you know your status in our process.

Q: Do you offer any type of tuition assistance?
A: Yes, after 90 days of consecutive employment, tuition assistance may be available to you.
Q: Do you offer seasonal, temporary, or internship positions?
A: On occasion we offer temporary and seasonal positions. We do not currently have an internship program; however, we do partner with career services at some local colleges and may also work with the Cooperative Education Program where available.
Q: What if my schedule isn't exactly what is listed on the job posting?
A: We frequently update our positions so please feel free to apply. There will be an option for you to state the hours you are available to work. If a recruiter identifies your availability as a match for an open position, you will be considered.
Q: I have applied multiple times yet I have not received an interview. Why?
A: At Emprise Bank we take into consideration a number of factors before scheduling an interview. Salary requirements, experience and availability are all variables. If one or more of these are not a match, it may affect your consideration for the position.
Q: I don’t have a computer at home. Where can I apply for Emprise Bank openings?
A: You can access our on-line applications anywhere you access the Internet. This includes public libraries, community colleges, and internet cafés. You may also visit Emprise Bank, Human Resources, 257 N. Broadway, 3rd floor, Wichita, Kansas 67202. We have accessible computers available 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, except during holidays.
Q: In addition to applying on line, would you recommend that I also forward my resume directly to the hiring department?
A: While we appreciate your enthusiasm, the online application is the official way to apply for positions at Emprise Bank. Applicants who forward resumes to the Human Resource Division or the hiring department will be redirected back to the online system.
Q: What happens if I submit an online application but do not complete all the required sections?
A: Online applications that are incomplete will not be considered. In order to receive full consideration for the position(s) for which you submit an application, you need to completely fill out each section of the application. Please be sure that all sections of your online application will only be considered for those positions where you meet the minimum requirements. Mass applying for positions that do not match your qualifications is not recommended for success.
Q: How can I increase my chances of being called for an interview?
A: We strongly recommend that you target and apply only for those positions where your experience and qualifications closely meets the position’s requirements. Be sure to carefully read the job announcement and pay special attention to the experience and skills that are being sought as well as any requirements. Mass applying for positions that do not match your qualifications s not recommended for success.
Q: How will I be notified if I am being considered for a position?
A: A Human Resources representative will contact you by telephone or email with more information about the position and to schedule an interview.
Q: How will I be notified if I am not being considered for a position?
A: You will be notified by email if you are not being considered for a position. The reasons for not being considered may vary. Your qualifications, experience, and requested hours are month some of the criteria used to determine if your application meets the position requirements.
