So you’re interested in working for Emprise! Here is what you can expect after you have sent in your resume.
Interviews – After an initial screening, you may be selected for an interview. Initial interviews will be conducted by someone from Human Resources. If you are selected for a second interview, you may interview with the Manager, or a select team of individuals from the area that has the job vacancy.
Skill/Ability/Behavioral Assessment – Hiring decisions will not be based solely on an individual's "test" results. However, these evaluations provide valuable information to assist in matching an applicant’s strengths to a position.
Previous Employment Reference Checking – You may be asked to sign a release for information from your previous employer. Multiple jobs for brief periods of time do not exhibit the level of commitment to a job that Emprise Bank would consider. Also, past work experiences will reveal information about an applicant’s integrity.
Education Verification – Reference checking will include confirming your education as stated on your employment application.
Employment Credit History – You will be asked to sign a release for information that will enable us to check your credit history. Regardless of other credentials, no one will be hired if their credit history includes multiple late pays or collection activity. (By law we cannot deny employment because of bankruptcy).
Criminal, Civil, Municipal, and FDIC Background Check – Bank employees must be insured (bonded) and therefore may not have any felony convictions.
Kansas Driving Report (if applicable to the position) – You will be asked to sign a release that will enable us to check your driving record.
Drug Testing – Applicants must pass a drug screen and agree to random drug screening as an employee of the bank.
