Interview Do Nots
Here at Emprise we use a double interview system. Initial interviews will be conducted by someone from Human Resources. If you are selected for a second interview, you may interview with the Manager, or a select team of individuals from the area that has the job vacancy. What can you do to make launching your new career at Emprise Bank more likely? Here are a few tips:
Distractions
- Chewing gum or candy
- Using cell phones/pagers
- Wearing excessive jewelry, perfume, cologne or make-up
- Touching your face or twirling hair

- Being late
- Interrupting the interviewer
- Rambling, Mumbling or Cursing
- Getting defensive

Using poor language, slang and pause words (such as "like," "uh," and "um")
- Dressing too casually
- Being too dominant
- Expressing irrelevant opinions

Negativism
- Badmouthing past employers
- Being unprepared
- Watching the clock
- Acting tired or bored
- Asking about benefits and perks too early
- Forgetting to follow-up
